Where [and Why] did this all this Strata Blogging Begin?

A short story about The Strata Experts Blogspot

I’ve been asked many times why I publish all these articles, news items and case reviews about Australian #stratatitle issues.  And, there are lots of good reasons.

A key reason is that it is a great way for me to maintain my long-term interest, edge, and involvement in the strata title sector.

It all began when I got the strata itch [again] after the short break I took when I stopped lawyering in 2010.

So, in 2011, I began writing an old-school style blog called The Strata Experts on Blogspot where I published shortish thoughts on high-density real estate issues that I thought were interesting. 

That blogging continued in bigger and smaller waves over the next 9 years whilst I did a few other things involving telecommunications, consulting, and technology development for online voting tools until I  launched GoStrata Stak in 2020. 

Between 2011 and 2020, there were 590 posts on The Strata Experts Blogspot.  Plus, you can still see them all here.

Compared to what I’m doing today, The Strata Experts Blogspot was a bit more diverse and a bit less technical. But, it still contains a lot of interesting stuff that I’m proud of.

I’ll be recycling a few of those old blogs that have survived the last decade for GoStrata Stak in 2024 .
