A Strata Listening Tour

or, Aussie strata title podcasts overviewed …

Most strata information comes in writing: whether specifically about strata building operations or for strata education, training, discussion and information.  But, we can listen anywhere and anytime, we can listen whilst doing other things, and, studies suggest that listeners remember more of and give more credibility to information when they hear it.  Plus, the popularity and accessibility of podcasting means it’s modern and mainstream.  So, what Aussie strata title podcasts are out there and should you be on a strata listening tour too?

Introduction

In this article, I’m taking you on an Australian listening tour of strata title podcasts.

That's because we’ve been doing all our strata information exchange in writing forever for internal strata building operations; issues and for more general strata activities like strata education, training, discussion and debate, FAQs and information gathering.  It’s fine, but it’s a bit boring, and, it’s slow.

So, why read when you can listen instead?

Podcasts have become very popular. There are many reasons for their popularity including that they cover niche topics, can be enjoyed on your schedule, you can listen while doing other things, and they’re easily accessible.

Compared to reading, watching television, or turning on the radio, podcasts offer a host of benefits that make them a better fit for the modern listener.

Plus, some studies suggest that listening is better for memorisation [but perhaps not for learning].

And, they’re more entertaining [IMO].
